VI: Free topic about my career

In this first year studying anthropology I learned a lot of different thing that we can do in our professional life. But the most important reflexion that I did is the ethical question around the implementation of the discipline.  Really, many people doesn't know anything about what an anthropologist do, so, in simple words, an anthropologist/archeologist is someone who has a very close interaction with some community or etnic group for study issues. This makes the relatioship between this two entities have some ethical things. For example, an anthropologist who goes to any community has to have differents responsable attitudes with the membes, because the cultural differences create differences in the behavior, wich are not bad, only that you have to be careful with the intervention you are thinking of carrying out. Likewise, an archeologist, who has mainly interaction with the fossil remains, has other ethical issues, like the respect with the remains of someone who was par...

This photograph is very important to me. It has a lot of memories and  it reminds me of many good moments. To contextualizate, I am scout, so as you maybe know, we go to camps every year. We were approximately seventy people in total, but we divide into small groups according to age, and when we are smaller according to the gender too. In the photo we were mixted young between 15 and 20 years old. (no all of us in the photography, a few are missing)   This photo is January, 2017. That year we went to Choshuenco, It's a comunne in Los Rios region, wich is on the shore of the lake Panguipulli, It's a beautiful place, we bathed a lot on the lake beach, and everything around is very green, It has a lot of trees, plants and hills.  Specifically in this photograph we are in Panguipulli, we went there for the day, it's really important this photo to me, cause each camp it made us to know each other better, and therefor being more closer and good friends.  Today,...

In this free topic, I am going to write about a fomous comic, that I've been reading recently.  Mafalda, is an argentine comic strip written and drawn by "Quino", it start in 1964 to 1973. It is about a girl, who reflects the argentine middle class and progressive youth. It is considered a symbol in persuit of human and children's rights. It has a innocent but strong message, and it's constantly rebelling against the world bequeathed by adults.  It's very popular in all Latinamerica, but it's also recognized in countries like Spain, France, Greece and Italy. Has been translated into more than 30 leguages.  Personally, I considered Mafalda an important character of the sudamerican culture, it's a girl with a political opinion who uses the social satire as a commentary on real life issues. The cartoonist Joaquin Lavado, died on September 30th this year.
